  • Russ Canzler

    Owner | Director | Recruiting Coordinator

    Russ Canzler serves as the Owner and Director of RCS Warpath Baseball and oversees all major aspects of the organization. His responsibilities include coaching oversight, player assessment & assignments, scheduling, and serving as the program’s recruiting coordinator. Coach Canzler works closely with players and families to guide development and recruiting, ensuring every athlete receives the structure, support, and opportunities needed to reach their goals.

  • John Petrilyak

    Senior Team Director | 16U National Head Coach | Recruiting Advisor

    John Petrilyak serves as Senior Team Director for RCS Warpath and is the Head Coach of the 16U National team. A former player at Lock Haven University and graduate assistant coach at East Stroudsburg University, he also brings head coaching experience from Marian Catholic. In addition to his on-field roles, John manages day-to-day operations of the RCS facility and serves as a recruiting advisor within the organization.

  • Chris Genao

    Youth Program Director | Strength & Conditioning

    Chris Genao serves as Youth Program Director and Strength & Conditioning Coach for RCS Warpath, overseeing all aspects of the 8U–12U program. He is responsible for player development planning, evaluations, and coaching strategy, ensuring young athletes build a strong foundation in the fundamentals of the game.

    Coach Genao does outstanding work teaching and developing players, with a specialization in hitting instruction and strength training. He works closely with athletes across the organization to improve performance, instill confidence, and create habits that support long-term success.

  • Dr. Heidi Peters

    Director of Athletic Training

    Dr. Heidi Peters serves as Director of Athletic Training for RCS Warpath, bringing elite-level expertise in movement quality, strength development, recovery, and injury prevention. Her hands-on approach allows athletes to benefit from individualized evaluation and performance-focused training designed to support long-term health and athletic growth.

    From movement assessment through performance optimization, Dr. Peters blends sports science with real-world coaching to help athletes train smarter and stay healthier. Her presence within the program strengthens our ability to support player development by reducing injury risk and maximizing on-field performance.

  • Rich Macik

    Director of RCS NY | 14U Head Coach

    Rich Macik serves as Director of RCS NY and Head Coach of the 14U team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and years of experience coaching baseball and softball at multiple levels. A former collegiate athlete, Coach Macik is deeply committed to teaching the fundamentals of the game and helping players grow both on and off the field.

    He oversees player development programs for RCS athletes throughout the Northern Tier of Pa and Southern Tier of NY, working closely with coaches and families to create consistent training standards and opportunities for advancement. His experience and leadership play a key role in expanding and strengthening the Warpath program in the region.

  • Kyle Schneider

    Director of Pitching Development

    Kyle Schneider serves as Director of Pitching Development for RCS Warpath. A standout pitcher at Slippery Rock University and former high school coach, he brings a strong background in pitching instruction and athlete development to the organization.

    Coach Schneider oversees pitcher development across all Warpath teams, leading preseason, midseason, and postseason assessments to track progress and guide improvement. He provides in-person evaluations while supporting our coaching staff with individualized throwing plans and development resources. Coach Schneider maintains ongoing connection with players to deliver instruction, feedback, and consistent support throughout the year.

  • Wilman Rodriguez

    Hitting Coach | Outfield Development

    Wilman Rodriguez serves as a Hitting Coach and Outfield Development instructor for RCS Warpath. A former professional player in the Washington Nationals organization, he brings firsthand experience and a deep understanding of offensive development to the program.

    Coach Rodriguez works closely with players to develop individualized plans focused on improving all aspects of offensive performance, as well as outfield play. Known for his energy and passion for teaching, he is deeply committed to helping athletes maximize their potential and grow both as players and competitors.

  • Ernny Ordonez

    Infield Coordinator | Hitting Coach

    Ernny Ordonez serves as Infield Coordinator and Hitting Coach for RCS Warpath. A former professional player in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization, he brings high-level playing experience and a strong technical understanding of infield and offensive development.

    Coach Ordonez works with athletes to refine defensive fundamentals, footwork, and infield awareness while also contributing to the organization’s hitting development. His attention to detail and commitment to teaching help players build confidence, consistency, and a strong foundation for long-term success.

  • Mayky Perez

    Pitching Coach

    Mayky Perez serves as a Pitching Coach for RCS Warpath. A former professional pitcher in the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Angels organizations, he brings valuable professional experience and insight to the development of our athletes.

    Coach Perez focuses on building sound pitching mechanics, promoting arm health, and establishing professional training routines. His hands-on instruction helps pitchers develop consistency, durability, and the habits necessary to succeed at higher levels of the game.

  • Kyle Landis

    Pitching Instructor

    Kyle Landis is a former professional pitcher in the Cleveland Guardians organization, a multiple-time minor league All-Star, and a standout collegiate athlete at the University of Pittsburgh. He brings high-level playing experience and a strong reputation for developing pitchers throughout the region.

    Coach Landis is known for his ability to teach both the mechanical and mental aspects of pitching, helping athletes build confidence and consistency on the mound. His background as a Physician Assistant adds another layer of expertise, giving players valuable insight into arm care, recovery, and overall health as they train and compete.

  • Justin Minor

    Youth Development | Strength & Conditioning Coach

    Justin Minor serves as a Youth Development and Strength & Conditioning Coach for RCS Warpath. A former collegiate player at Misericordia University, he brings a strong playing background along with experience in physical therapy and athletic training.

    Coach Minor does outstanding work with athletes of all ages, helping them build strength, movement quality, and confidence in their training. His combined knowledge of performance and injury prevention adds an important layer of support to our player development programs.

  • Chase Petrilyak

    13U Director | Hitting Instructor

    Chase Petrilyak serves as 13U Director and Hitting Instructor for RCS Warpath. A former standout player at Marian Catholic, he continued his playing career at Lycoming College and Penn State Hazleton.

    Coach Petrilyak is passionate about teaching the critical team and individual skills players need as they transition to the big field at the 13U level. He focuses on building strong fundamentals, game awareness, and confidence to help young athletes succeed during an important stage of their development.

  • Colin Stauffer

    15U National Coach | RCS Instructor

    Colin Stauffer serves as Head Coach of the 15U National team and as an instructor within the RCS Warpath program. A former standout player at Hazleton Area and Penn State, Coach Stauffer has made a strong impact over his past three seasons with RCS.

    Known for his calm and confident demeanor, his teams reflect his leadership and consistently perform at a high level. Coach Stauffer is an excellent instructor and in-game manager with a strong technical understanding of all aspects of the game, helping players develop both their skills and competitive mindset.

  • Kyle Karmonick

    Pitching Coach | 17U Coach

    Kyle Karmonick serves as a Pitching Coach and 17U Coach for RCS Warpath. A member of the Hazleton Area High School coaching staff, he brings a strong understanding of pitching development across all age levels.

    Coach Karmonick works closely with pitchers to build sound mechanics, arm care routines, and competitive mound presence. His ability to teach both fundamentals and advanced concepts allows him to connect with athletes at every stage of development. Known for his attention to detail and steady leadership, he plays an important role in preparing Warpath pitchers to compete with confidence at the highest levels.

  • Jim Tanner

    17U National Head Coach

    Jim Tanner serves as Head Coach of the 17U National team and is an assistant coach at Hazleton Area High School, as well as a longtime staple of the RCS Warpath program. Over the years, he has coached many of the organization’s top players, several of whom have gone on to play collegiate and professional baseball.

    Coach Tanner is widely respected for his ability to motivate athletes and bring out their competitive best. His leadership and experience consistently translate to teams that perform at a high level, while fostering a culture built on accountability, preparation, and teamwork.
