The Warpath Story
RCS Warpath Baseball began in 2016 when Coach Russ Canzler started working with local players through small camps, clinics, and individual instruction.
What began as simple open workouts for athletes looking to train and develop quickly gained momentum. Through hard work, word of mouth, and a genuine commitment to helping players improve, the program grew into one of the fastest-rising baseball organizations in the Northeast.
By 2026, Warpath had expanded into a full organization of RCS-owned and operated teams competing at top regional and national events. With a staff of more than 30 coaches bringing professional, collegiate, and high school playing and coaching experience, Warpath attracts talented players from across Pennsylvania and New York. In just a few short years, the organization has helped produce over 90 college commitments and 3 MLB Draft selections — milestones that reflect both competitive success and a deep investment in long-term player development.
Despite that growth, Warpath has never lost sight of its roots. Those early open workouts — built on teaching, mentorship, and a love for the game — remain the foundation of the program today. Every athlete in the organization is developed with the same blueprint that started it all: elite coaching, intentional player development, and a family-centered culture that emphasizes respect for the game and a commitment to playing a winning, team-first brand of baseball.
